Kevin,

Great comment on my post! I love your Lion's metaphor --- I agree! Waking up everyday thinking of what problem can I find/tackle/solve today is a great mindset to operate from. And it could lead you to uncover great opportuntities and perhaps achieve greater success in life. Like some one once said "no pain --- no gain".

The BEST is yet to come!

Some people will hide from the problems of the organization or be paralyzed in fear to try anything that could make things better.

It's best to stay hungry and fascinated with solving problems, even others problems. - The Lion mentality staying sharp and looking for the next kill.

These opportunities can also help hone the communication skills as I had found one day that somehow on my test box I had an Oracle Home (downgraded to 10.2.0.3) and I had to show (and communicate with the people in systems) without accusing people in harsh tones. So these problem solving opportunities are great for honing the tech and people skills!
